A faster, simpler, smarter way to pay is here

Endeavour members can now send and receive payments in real time, 24/7, through the New Payments Platform (NPP) and PayID, powered by Osko.

Five ways NPP and PayID will make your banking easier

  1. You no longer need to remember your BSB and account number - Raise your hand if you can recite your BSB and bank account number off the top of your head. That’s right, you’d need some serious memory skills to remember those two figures. Thanks to NPP you can now use a simple easy to remember PayID instead of your BSB and account numbers. This can be your mobile number or email address, so the next time you're getting paid by someone else, just give them your PayID and they can use it to transfer funds to your account.
A simpler PayID also means that you don't have to share your BSB and account number, so they remain private.
  2. Receive faster payments, in under a minute, 24/7 - In the past, standard transactions could take several days for payment and funds to clear from one institution to another before arriving in your account. With NPP, you can now transfer funds to participating banks in under a minute, 24/7.
  3. Pay the right person easier with PayID - Ever send a payment using BSB and account number and wonder if you missed a digit? When you use a PayID with a service like Osko, the name of the person who owns that PayID is shown immediately before you approve the payment, then all you have to do is simply confirm it's the right person.
  4. Splitting payments are made simple - Need to split the bill for a group dinner? With NPP you can now just give your PayID to your mates, then they can instantly transfer their share of the money to you. No more footing the bill, rounding up payments or checking to see if you have been paid.
  5. Smarter payment descriptions - While the 18 or so letters you get right now might be enough to convey a payment description like "paybck parnts" or "breakfast" it can be a challenge for even the best of shorthand writers to describe payment references. Thankfully with NPP this has been generously upped to 280 characters (including emojis) to express and properly describe what the payment was for.
