simplify your christmas and enjoy it more

The advent calendars are being opened day by day and tinsel is twinkling all over town. As well as excitement and anticipation however, December can bring with it additional stress, a busy social calendar, credit card debt and an overwhelming load of looming end of year deadlines.

The hunt for gifts has begun and you may have begun decking out the house with sparkles and lights. The shops are super busy and window displays are looking very festive indeed. We are encouraged by magazines, movies and malls to spend up big at Christmas on decorations, gifts, food and accessories. But how much do you really have to spend to make it a memorable day spent with loved ones?

Here are some tips to keep your spending down and reduce wastage this Christmas

Your family and friends don’t want you getting into debt for the sake of a few extra gifts or big glitzy decorations. Spending quality time with each other and creating fun memories is worth so much more.
